Ir. Shahrul Nizar Shaari — Co-founder & Managing Director

A professional Civil Engineer and MBA holder, he started his career with Bursa-listed IBS manufacturer and contractor, ACP Industries Berhad (now known as MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad), before joining the government service. At CIDB Malaysia, Ir. Shahrul was involved in the early government initiatives on IBS including the IBS Roadmap Cabinet Paper in 2003 and implementation of its downstream initiatives. His last post in the government was as a Parliamentary Research Officer and involved in providing research support for the Honourable Members of Dewan Rakyat and Dewan Negara. Later, he joined the UEM Group, a Malaysian GLC, for a short stint before leaving to establish Innovacia in November 2006 as the first Malaysian consultancy & training house focusing on IBS.

Zuraini B Jamari — Executive Director

He has an architectural background and more than two decades of CAD/CAM sales, training and consultancy experience. Zuraini was involved in development of many CAD-based software including the Modular Coordination Checker (MC2) for CIDB Malaysia, MBM CAD for Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah, and BL CAD Measure for Binalink Sdn. Bhd. Innovacia expanded into providing CAD-based design, software development and training services when Zuraini became a partner in 2008. Backed by his vast experience as CAD designer as well as software developer, Zuraini lead a group of young local engineers to produce the affordable and industry-friendly CAD software, TiffinCAD as well as other CAD-based vertical applications; including the only IBS Score software in the market, TiffinTOOLS-IBS.

Hj. Abdul Rahman Adnan — Associate Consultant

Hj. Abdul Rahman studied economics at Monash University and later pursued journalism as a career. He started as a Reporter, progressing to Assistant News Editor of The New Straits Times and Chief Leader Writer of Berita Harian before leaving the company to study Law.

He was an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya from 1992-2005. From 1996-1998, he was also the Director of Institut Kajian Dasar; an internationally-linked non-profit think tank. He was at the Malaysian Parliament’s Research Unit from 2005-2009; providing supports to the Honourable Members of Parliament as well the Public Accounts Committee.

With his wide experience and strategic local and international networking, he is currently supporting Innovacia in communication, legal and business-related training and advisory services.

Both Ir. Shahrul and Hj. Abdul Rahman received their early education at the Malay College and were former colleagues at the Malaysian Parliament’s Research Unit.
